A loud sigh escaped the black maw of the mare that had just walked into the land. So, I'm not alone huh...great. It's true, she wasn't a very social mare, but like all equines she did yearn for a herd once in a while. She shook her black mane and walked further into the land, not sure what she would find. She didn't stop walking until she reached a wooded part of the grounds. Her black tail flitted around as she scanned her surroundings. This will do just fine. A small smile crossed her ebony lips as she spoke, her voice calm, cool, and collected. She lowered her ebony cranium, her black forelock falling over her dark chocolate eyes. After a few minutes of grazing on the fresh, ripe grass the mare known as Independence sighed and raised her maw from the luscious stalks of vegetation. She gazed around at her surroundings once more, before moving over to stand under a tall oak tree. She possitioned herself so that she was close to the roots of the tree, yet so that she wasn't laying on them. It took her a few minutes but she finally laid herself down on the soft stalks. One soft yawn escaped her maw before she finally rested her head on one of the roots of the tree, and fell asleep.
