Personality: Elegance was second nature to this mare. In her speech, and manner. The grace of her step was that of a dancers, often she could be found on the outskirts of herds, observing. Her loyalty when gained knew no bounds, a trait that was both a blessing and a curse, but as with all burdens carried within her secret heart, the weight was held with dignity. A creature of few words caused by a near painful shyness often set her slightly apart from the other more social mares. Some took this as arrogance, others assumed she felt that she was to good for them. Still it was only a mask, a veil that had become her 'security blanket'. If one should get to know the quiet fae they would find a true warm heart. While scared the beating core of who she was still retained a joy in life, revealing a playful creature, when her guard is lowered.
History: The storm raged echoing the screams of a rogue mare high in the mountains. Pains of labor brought another cry of agony from a dark throat, only to have the sound muffled by another clap of thunder. The vale was small, sheltered from the winds. It was the best she could find when the pains ad struck her. The morning light would find a second soul, finding an unsteady balance within the vale's shelter. A coffee cream filly with a mane and tail of glittering sunlight.
Time passed since that night, a little over a year in which the filly had grown, her colors darken until the gleam of brilliant sun gold lapped against rich milk chocolate. Her mother had kept the filly hidden from the herds that roamed the land, from the sight of the stallions that ruled. Eventually her mother had told her, they would go to join a herd, but not yet. When she was half way through her second year fate decided it was time to step in, in the form of a dancing flames. The wildfire had pinned the panicked pair against the flat surface of small cliff-face. The paths to either side were engulfed, but only just. Illusion had bit and kicked at her mother to get her to leap through the ever thickening flames. But the older mare wouldn't budge, frozen with fear. A lick of flame brushing at her heels set instincts into action and the younger mare into flight. Through the flames she had lept, leaving her mother to the fires mercy. It was a tragedy that kept the young horse in the hills unable to face herself let alone that of the others her mother had told her of.
Years had passed since the horror of that night. Weary of surviving alone gave in to instinct once again. Seeking the lands ruled by stallions, and the companionship of others.
