Name: Chiron Age: Seven Breed: Percheron Gender: Stallion Allaince: Neutral Height: 16.3hh Color: White Markings: None Picture: Other: None
Personality: Chiron is a bit on the bi-polar side, or so others like to think with the way his mood can swing from the cool, level sweetheart to the arrogant jackass that seems to be scared of something. That, my dears, comes from the horrors to be found within his dreams. Though he will tell no one what they show him and he will not share in the recurring nightmares that haunt his every move. He sees it every where he goes. Some equines think he hallucinates, but this is something that happens after harsh trauma and terrible events. Sometimes it's best to leave him to his business or you might find out why some others whisper about him when they think he isn't listening.
He wakes up in the middle of the night screaming, but with no one to listen and so he cries and shakes. Equines that roam close by hear, but ignore it, as though nothing is going on. On occasion you may hear something get being broken, hear him yelling at something that isn't there. They think he's lost his mind. They think it's been gone awhile. It's time to turn the others away. Can you see the fear in his eyes, the anxiety on his face? Down another cry, sleep another night. Wake up to the same blood dripping down the cavern wall. He doesn't take things well, fast movements, dark nights. Sleep awhile, little lost colt.
Against all odds, he's sweet, charming, even kind. But they all know. They see the pain hidden within. No one can help him. Watch that lop sided smile flash and fade when you turn to leave. The light slowly fades from those handsome eyes. Can you catch up before he falls to his death? He's almost over the edge. Almost gone from himself. Save the poor lost colt, before time runs out. It ticks by, day after day. Tick tock. Who can save the damned little beast? History: Childhood Normal, perfect. Everything any colt could have wanted. His father spoiled him and his mother cherished him. She would take him everywhere with her, show him off to the world. It was bliss. He never thought anything could be better and he never thought anything bad could happen to them. How wrong he was. Everything seemed to get turned upside down in the end, but let us not dwell on that. For now, let's think of the happy times. They played, roamed and enjoyed the good life. There he thought would be his happily ever after. Not so much. He was very young when his mother found out his father was leaving them and never coming back. Everything went south from there and his perfect life was shatter in one foul swoop.
Teenhood A year hit and all him and his mother did was fight. He wanted to see his father, she wouldn't let him. Said he was too dear to her heart. Like he believed that of course. Being your average yearling. Their fights sometimes got really bad and his mother would lash out at him without even thinking about it. Normally it hit him in the chest, or flank. Knocking the wind out of him and sending him into a heap on the ground. As he grew though, it seemed things could only get worse. He told her he was leaving as soon as he turned three and he was never coming back. That she was worthless, nothing to him. One day, he got back from a play fight with another colt and a panicked scream sounded. He ran, as hard as he could to his mother only to find her dead. Killed by the wrath of some unknown horse. It was grotesque. Blood painted the ground and cavern walls and he just lost it because his mother was not expressionless in death. A smile covered her lips.
Adulthood So, after his mother was killed, he joined up with his dad for awhile so he could cool the pain he felt within himself. Well, that didn't work out too well. His dad had gotten another mare and two sons and a daughter off of her. Both colts were younger than Chiron by a year or so and he hated them. They always got into fights and one day by total accident he lashed out as his brother, knocking him down and crushing his skull without thought of what he was doing. The whole thing was an accident, a flare of temper. He hadn't meant to kill him. He hadn't meant for his half brother to fall and land under his massive hooves. It was never his wish, but still, his father made him leave and so now, here he is. In this living nightmare where visions of his mother and half brother haunt him in the night and never allow him to sleep.
