Personality: Sunshade is strong willed, protective, patient, kind hearted, hard headed, sweet, kind, giving, loyal, mysterious, graceful, laid back, yet energetic at times. He is also fun-loving, very persistent, friendly, calm, passive, spirited, bold, cunning, quiet, strong, polite, and respectful. Sunshade is a gentle stallion who loves to be around foals. He doesn't like to fight, but he will defend what he believes deserves protecting. He will respect a mare's wishes, unless she has gone too far, and has crossed the line. He is not above forcing a mare to do something, but would rather she made up her own mind.
History: Sunshade was born as the only paint in his herd, and because of that, the older foals made fun of him because he was different. His mother wasn't the lead mare, and had very little power to stand up for him if the other mares joined in. His father wasn't there much, Sun barely remembers what he looked like. All Sunshade does remember of his father, was that every time he came around the mares, there would be more foals showing up. Sunshade always got along with the younger foals, but there parents didn't always like the fact that their foals were playing with the "outcast" of the herd. All of his memories of his mother were always pleasant. She always did whatever she could to make him happy. Sun stayed close to his mother as long as he could, but when the colts reached the age of three, his father violently drove away all of his sons. Sunshade tried to bring his mother with him, but his father did whatever he could to separate the two of them. Sunshade finally gave up searching for his mother eleven months after his father drove him away. Now all he wants to do, is to prove to the world that he could be a better stallion than the one that helped create him.
Other: Sunshade's mother was called, Atawhai. He doesn't remember his father's name.
