The summer's nearly here.
A faint wind pranced playfully through the dips and rises of Ainea, pushing warm air along with it. The warmth was not at all unbearable, but enjoyable to those who had just endured the past winter. The sun hid behind a long and narrow ribbon of clouds, almost as if it were afraid of what was about to come.
Who could blame it?
Then along came Vee, a perfectly black, sinister stallion. He had not a single flaw upon his ebony coat and he knew that. Conceited, no. Proud, yes. His Arabian heritage shown through in high head and tail carriage, all the more reason for him to be proud. In his mind Arabians were the perfect breed, maybe that's just because he was one.
The earth barely crippled under his hooves. Ahhh, just rained. He thought to himself.
Once he deemed the land worthy of his ownership he claimed it. Letting out a cry that traveled from him to each corner.
