(This is for a Sunrunner position) Name:Vee breed:arabian age:four gender:stallion height 15hh even. appearance: Straight black Alliance:dark. Personality: Little is known about the mysterious Vee. Rumor has it he is a force to be reckoned with. Though young, he has the mindset of destruction and is set to kill. He thirsts for blood and must fulfill that. Some say that sometimes he gains a red tint to his eyes. sire:unknown dam:unknown
Just one more day alone.
The night was nearly over. Small rays of sun fought through the moonlight, which means the sun was winning the battle. Although the battle was being won this time, like all things, no one party can always win and just as fast as the sun won this war, another war will be fought when the night rolls around. This cycle was just like life, you win and then you lose.
Vee was nearly tired of walking this world alone. Not that he wasn't able to, he just preferred company, someone to entertain him. So I guess that means that he isn't lonely, just bored and perhaps selfish actually.
The midnight ebon steed peered down upon Fronia from a high point, enjoying what he seen. The world had been tipped on its side and all these equines promoting "peace" were just a bunch of crocks to him. Infact he'd like to see one out himself, but they always hid because they knew what was good for them.
Vee wasn't the ideal color for being a sunrunner, but another thing that he took great pride in was being an Arabian, just like Sol. His maw boasted a prideful smile as he knew that was the master race. Gorgeous features, witty mind, and an attitude like no other. I suppose immense pride wasn't too far out of the line either.
Back to reality.
The ground barely crippled under Vee's dark hooves as he scanned the horizon, finding humor in the horses below. Actually, him looking down was almost ironic in the sense of that's how things were, he looked down upon most. A small and ominous laugh rumbled from his chest and was soon followed by speech. Ha! These pathetic horses have no idea how fast I'm going to topple their world He turned his body fluidly, his long black mane and tail flowing like ribbons behind him. His eyes were crimson, just like his leader.

Omg, he'd be perfect for the leader unless you had a different position in mind?

Name: Fajer breed: Arabian age: 8, I believe gender: stallion height 15.3 hands appearance: black Alliance: dark Personality: Polite he is, but that does not diminish the fact that he will kill if he feels like it. Fajer is a stallion from the "old time", back when everyone had manners. Consider him to be like the old mafia, not the new age movie hotshot. He lives by the rules, and honor is very important to him. However, if you break the rules, the ones that he believes are important, then you might not survive the next day. Fajer comes off as uncaring at times, which he can be, unless your name begins with a tale and ends with heart. sire: unknown dam: unknown
What is life? It is merely chaos, and we attempt to create order.
The black stallion lifted his proud head and smiled. Today was a good day. The day was young, not that it really mattered. In his life, there was little to do, save to exist. So, I suppose, what made this day a nice one was the weather. Of course, in his home, the weather was mostly the same: fairly desolate and always windy. Unless, of course, it was not. But today was a windy day and so he could still smell her. His mate for life: Tell Tale Heart. She'd recently been here, and they'd spoken. And this is what made Fajer's day.
Sad existence, huh? Not really. After all, he is pleased by it.
Fajer took in the rest of the scents. Normal. Apparently, no one was out and about, roaming the plains. So he was alone. Again. But he was happy.
And so is Fajer. King of...Himself.
I don't even know what this post is, but...whatever.

Stargazer leader would be fine. I don't really mind.
Well, whenever I log in, it doesn't log me in. It says Fajer is online at the bottom and everything, but still says "Welcome Traveler" and all that at the top, so I'm not actually logged in.

This is Tell Tale Heart for Stargazer beta.
This isn't just another story of a unruly mare who fought for her freedom, failed, and finally ended up alone. No, this is much different than that. Though the story started with a familiar scene, a mare fighting to be her own horse and thinking they could ultimately live alone without the need for a stallion as a leader. Actually, the story took a sharp turn when she met Fajer.
In the beginning, she despised him, even as far as to say loathed him. She wasn't sure why, and actually it wasn't even anything personal, for some odd reason, she just enjoyed being a tyrant and that she was. For a long while she fought everything he said, or did until one day everything changed. Her feelings morphed from hate to love and eventually that's what led them to this point. Here is where she loved to be, in fact, she wouldn't, no couldn't be anywhere but by his side for he was her soul mate from now, and forever.
Tell Tale Heart looked over the lands, scanning for Fajer. She hadn't seen him in quite a while now, though she knew he was alright. It seemed like she had a piece of him with her always because she could always sense he was alright. Eventually, she spotted him. A small smile crept onto her face as she watched his perfect black figure from afar. He was the only one who could, without even doing anything, bring joy to her. Which was just one more reason she couldn't be without him.
The night was creeping onward so she progressed playfully towards Fajer. Even though they had been together for so long, every time they met the world seemed to go into slow motion, like one of those over dramatic movie hugs. Once she finally reached him, she rejoiced and once more smiled. Her snow white pelt seemed to be glowing in the moonlight as they stood together as one.

Okay, I have a question about this since I know how Fajer and Tell Tale feel about each other.
Would she be able to fight his decisions if she thought they were wrong? Especially if they were wrong for the good of the clan?
If not, might I suggest she take either the Sunrunner or Earthrunner clan and have a forbidden romance?

Hmmm.... I think she could disagree... I couldn't see them living apart however.

Hmmm, well, I can understand not wanting them separated...but the beta doesn't always have to argue with the leader, it's just they'd have to question them for serious decisions....plus I think it'd be exceedingly rare for a leader and beta to be together (for the very reason of emotions getting in the way)....so if you're absolutely positive she can fight his decisions when it's called for then she can have the position, but if she can't I don't think that'd be a good position for her...

SOL · sun / war diety of fronia · Name: Sol Age: Ageless Breed: Arabian Gender: Stallion Clan: Diety of Sunrunners Rank: God Height: 15.2hh Color: Palomino Sabino Markings: Flawless hide, wide blaze of white that wraps around his chin, four high stockings. Eyes are red. Picture: Kalo has it, I'm told? Other: N/A
Personality: Well, how do you think he acted? He was the Sun God, mind you. He represented the embodiment of fire in one's heart, the welling up of passion so intense and blazing that it wielded a warrior of greatest magnitude. Where pride and passion collided, there was Sol. He was passionate - if ever a lover on the face of the earth sustained raw, carnal passion and hot, exotic desire, it was Sol. He was arrogance - boastful and prideful he might have been, but if ever there were one to be allowed to remain so exuberantly confident, it was Sol. He was vicious - the God of War, his mind tick tick ticked around the strategy to best impose, conquer, and reign as King. Losing was never an option, and when your mental state did not have room for things such as "failure," "retreat," or "lose," there was only one thing to do, and do at all costs. Win. He was conniving and quick-witted - being able to think on his feet was a volatile asset. Be wary, the fuse on this one was short, and his temper was lava-hot, just like the blood that ran through his veins. He was a worthy adversary to any, and that was putting it lightly.
History: How do you think the Gods feel when all hope and faith and worship that is saved for them alone falls silent. When a Diety's followers turn away from them - are they even a Diety anymore? Faithlessness and the non-believers, you would think, would starve a God of their power - strip away their will to reign tried and true. But not Sol. Daft, and with his mind set on rekindling the awe-struck fear that put followers faithfully beneath him, Sol was keen on exposing the non-believers to the frigid reality that they would have to grow accustomed to without his Godly presence. For a full week, the sun did not rise, nor shine. Frigid temperatures took over the realm of Fronia, and a darkness that was both eerie and void of hope. In the darkness, evil ran rampant - chaos ensued and herds were terrorized by the creatures of the night. Stength of the horses' most mighty and capable stallions were oddly weak and frail, they could not stand up to the nocturnal evils that wreaked havoc upon their loved ones. At the end of the seven-day stretch, the sun came out again, and Sol came with it. It was a new beginning, it was time the ingrateful mortals learned that with worship and sacrifice, faith and awe, came multitudes of graciousness from the Gods that watched over them. ---------
Luna was much more gracious than I. If it hadn't been for her tender-soft pleas to end the stretch of night, I wouldn't have done it. Those mortals needed a good lesson - not just any slap to the wrist or spanking would do. Their faithlessness in us had gone too far, and they, themselves were beginning to waste away because of it. We were Gods, for fuck's sake - we were Dieties among Most High, and what were all our gifts to the mortals to them? Nothing. Ungrateful bastards; my wrath was far worse than any scorned woman's. The utter lack of respect had driven me up a wall, and in retaliation, I lashed out and cut their legs from underneath them, so to speak. I took away their daylight.
For seven days, I watched as their world spun in chaos. Stern liked the disheveled atmosphere, and his amusement - for awhile, anyway - entertained me. However, I knew that the plague of darkness and weakness would not last. It was a tactic - you don't know what you have until you lose it. Smoldering maroon eyes of mine watched as my people were turned into darkness - pitch blackness that enveloped the land of Fronia. Not even the moon shone at night, with no reflecting sun to brighten it against the dark sky. I watched my people - no, not my people. I watched THE people die, falling prey to those who were skillful in the night's evil ways. They could not fight back - the pickings were extraordinary for the evils of the shadows. It was sinister - it was defiling. It was the epitome of their faithless, blind walks of life that they so chose to follow, turning their backs to us.
And they paid.
Finally, it was time for the light at the end of the long, dark tunnel. The sunrise on the seventh day should have ben extravagant, bursting with warm and hot palettes of color, but instead, the sun rose up over a barren land, filled with dismay; disheartening images of corpses and shriveled foliage. Those that had survived were huddled together, eating greedily of the dried grasses on the ground, their backs to one-another, looking out for each other in their moments of paralyzed fear. The light was something new to their eyes all over again, and I watched them squint in their mortal bodies when I stepped forward, the bright ball of blazing inferno rising behind me, silhouetting my regal, light colored figure. My musculature was lithe and exquisite, lines of extravagant Arabian lineage making up a good majority of my DNA markup. The dished head, the serpentine neck, but also - the unique color pattern on my coat - unscarred and unscathed, no matter how many battles I had been in. I was fucking immaculate. It showed. I commanded respect. From soldiers in the battlefield, from their ladies back in the herd, soaking up the sun. I demanded their attention with each solid hoof fall. I need not say a damned word. I wouldn't waste breath on them. They had groveling to do, before I would do much more than end the plague I had set them spiraling gunder.
They turned to me, and I felt the endorphin-raging thrill of power. It filled me, trickled into my nostrils and flooded through my veins as their fearful gazes riveted to my form, pristine, collected. Savage.
No words had to be spoken. I could feel their fear and awe with their stares, wide-eyed and white-rimmed and oh, so delicious. It was about time.
